Jim Amen Jr. Man of the Year Award
Awarded annually by the NCLCA to a person that has made significant contributions to the sport of boys lacrosse in Nassau County this award is named after longtime Nassau County Boys Lacrosse Coordinator Jim Amen, Jr.
A Hall of Fame coach and administrator, Amen coached at Plainview JFK High School, Division Avenue High School, and Bethpage High School, as well as at Johns Hopkins University. In addition he was Director of Athletics at both Cold Spring Harbor and Manhasset and served on numerous committees in Section VIII throughout his career.
