Congratulations to Adelphi University and Head Coach Gordon Purdie for winning the Division II National Championship yesterday, rallying to defeat Lenoir-Rhyne, 12-10.
Nassau Class B Quarterfinal Results
South Side (#1) beats Long beach (#8), Garden City (#2) beats Mepham (#7), Manhasset (#3) over Roslyn (#6) and Carey (#5) over Calhoun (#4) in Overtime.
Class A Quarterfinal Results
Lots of Class A quarterfinal results with top seeds winning.
Class C Quarterfinal Results
The Class C quarterfinals were played with Bethpage (#5) defeating Floral Park (#4) with all other top seeds winning. Seaford (#2) needed overtime to defeat Lynbrook (7) in overtime. 
Wheatley/Carle Place Advances in the First Playoff Game of 2024
The Class C play-in games were played today with Wheatley/Carely Place winning in overtime.
Lynbrook Earns Shutout Win in Class C Oubracket Game
Caiden Lung made 15 saves to lead #7 seeded Lynbrook to a 5-0 victory over #10 Wheatley/Carle Place in the Nassau Class C playoffs. 
Long Beach Advances in Class B
Nassau Class B Outbracket Game

#8 seed Long Beach (11-6) advanced past #9 MacArthur in the Nassau Class B outbracket round. 

Plainedge Tops Mineola in Class C
Nassau Class C Outbracket Game

Owen Donnellan had four goals and two assists and Jack O`Connor scored five times to lead #8 seed Plainedge past #9 Mineola in the Nassau Class C outbracket round. 

Mepham Defeats New Hyde Park in Class B
Mepham scored five unanswered goals in the first quarter and never looked back in their Nassau Class B outbracket game victory over New Hyde Park.
Nassau County Playoffs Start Today!
The 2024 Nassau County Boys Lacrosse playoffs start today with Hewett visiting Wheatley/Carle Place in a play-in game for the #10 seed in the Class C bracket.
Last Games Of The 2024 Regular Season!
In the very two last games of the regular season in Nassau County before the playoffs begin, Friends Academy defeated Plainview JFK 11-10 and Chaminade downed Manhasset, 12-4.
Farmingdale Downs CSH in the Final Power League Game of the Season
The Power League portion of the Nassau County boys lacrosse schedule came to an end yesterday with Farmingdale downing Cold Spring Harbor by the score of 10-6.

 BLAXEIGHT REPORT:  With a great effort by many of the coaches, we are pleased to open the new scholastic lacrosse website for Nassau County lacrosse. 


LOOKING BACK AT THE 2023 SEASON
2023 was a banner year for lacrosse in Nassau County with fifty-one teams competing with over 1,745 athletes on varsity rosters. There were 429 regular season games played and the 199 conference games determined the regular season champions. Farmingdale (Class A), Garden City (Class B), and Manhasset (Class C/D) each finished on top with 8-0 records in conference play. 
NYS Championship Streak Continues

 BLAXEIGHT REPORT:  With victories by three teams on June 11, 2021, Section VIII Boys Lacrosse continued an impressive streak of winning state championships that dates back to 2009. With wins by Garden City in Class B, Manhasset in Class C, and Cold Spring Harbor in Class D, Nassau has had a state champion in twelve consecutive seasons
