Historical Notes: Garden City defeated Comsewogue,9-8 in double overtime, to win the Long Island Class B championship. It is the first Long Island championship for Garden City since 2000. The Trojans scored twice in the final two minutes of regulation to force overtime and Tom Gordon scored the game-winner on an assist from Devin Dwyer with a minute gone in the second overtime period.
