BLAXEIGHT REPORT:  With a great effort by many of the coaches, we are pleased to open the new scholastic lacrosse website for Nassau County lacrosse. 

Sponsored by the Nassau County Lacrosse Coaches Association, the goal of this site is to provide information about our players and teams and to promote the great scholastic lacrosse in our county.

Information is and will be continual as we move toward the 2023 season. Some of the primary pages are now available, although data about teams and players is just starting to be entered by each team.

We are starting with access to team pages and from there, player pages. Please note that roster information at this point is preliminary... mostly based on potential returners from last year. Roster will be more accurate after tryouts this spring.

LOOKING AROUND

 The basic navigation through the website is from the menu at the top of each page:

EXAMPLES TAB: There are a few examples of how pages will look when information is entered. This tab will disappear by the end of the year, as the real pages have more information.

NEWS TAB: This tab will direct users to news stories that have left the front pages. It will open when we have more stories.

TEAMS TAB: Here you can get a list of the teams, coaches and current record sorted in various ways. When you click on the team name, you will be taken to the team page. From the team page you can see the team roster and a link to the team player profiles.

PLAYERS TAB: From this tab you will be able to find player pages (coming this fall). At the moment you can see a list of All-American from the county.

GAMES TAB: When the schedules start to come in, this tab will lead to pages that give a global view of the schedules. You will be able to look at the games scheduled for "this week" and even a list of all scheduled games. Note that schedules for specific teams are available on their team page.

TOURNAMENTS TAB: Information about the various end-of-season tournaments will be available this fall. When the tournaments begin, more detail will be placed here. Available now are lists of county, Long Island and NYS winners.

FEATURES TAB: As new applications are brought on-line, they will appear on the features page. Available now is the roster page app. This very popular program allows you to pick the two games playing today and to print a sheet with rosters for both teams. You can also pint one team with the players alphabetically arranged on one side and by number on the other side. NOTE: Rosters currently on the website are preliminary and will not be finalized until tryouts in the spring.

HISTORY TAB: Our historians have gathered quite a bit of information about our extraordinary history. As that information is prepared for presentation, it will appear here.

CONTACTS TAB: Who and how to connect with the volunteers who are working on the website will be found here. If you want to support the site with an ad for the general pages or your team page, or to make a donation, check the "Help Us" page.
