Tuesday: Farmingdale, Carey, Oyster Bay Among Today

Wheatley/Carle Place 7, West Hempstead 0:  James Demakopoulos pitched a shut out for the Wildfrogs, totalling 12 saves. . Chris Demicco had three goals and Blake Lyons added 2 goals and 1 assist for Wheatley/Carle Place (3-1).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Friends Academy 14, Clarke 5: Clarke's senior goalie Joseph Buffolino totaled 14 saves in the loss to the Quakers.  There was no report from Friends Academy (2-0) at post-time. [ BOX SCORE] 

Oyster Bay 8, Malverne/East Rockaway 3: Jake Macri scored three of his four goals in the second quarter for the Baymen. Lingen added two goals including a man up tally in the 4th quarter. In the goal for Oyster Bay (2-0) was sophomore Tyler Rosasco with 4 saves and junior Jake Panetta with 2 saves. Leading the scoring for Malverne/East Rockaway (1-1) were senior midfielder Robert Staubitz (1g-1a), senior attackman Alex Choisi (1g-1a), freshman A/M Matthew Delligatti (1g-0a). Junior Matt Larin made 13 saves in defeat.    [ BOX SCORE] 

Carey 11, Long Beach 9: Leading the scoring for Carey (2-0) were sophomore attackman Christian Todaro with five goals ands one assist and senior attackman Matt Metzger with three goals.  Ther Marines (1-1) were led by Jack Miller with five goals.    [ BOX SCORE] 

Farmingdale 9, Cold Spring Harbor 6: Farmindale's defense held the Seahawks (1-1) to one goal in the second half and goalie Mike Ippoliti totaled 11 saves in the win. The Dalers Brendan O'Keefe had three assists and both Matt Cangelosi and Jake Norton scored twice. CJ Reilly had two goals and an assist for Cold Spring Harbor.   [ BOX SCORE]
