Wednesday Review

In case you missed any scores from yesterday, here are the results and some of the outstanding individual performances from each team.

In Conference B:
Long Beach 14, Mepham 5: The Marines improve to 5-3 thanks to Jake Miller's four goals and three assists. Teammate Daniel McArdle added three goals and two assists. Alessandro Walatis scored two goals and added an assist for Mepham (2-6). 
Jericho 14, Sewanhaka 0: Jackson Gingold scored five goals and had four assists for Jericho (3-4). Jalen Brown made 15 saves for Sewanhaka (0-9). 

In Conference C/D:
Manhasset 15, Cold Spring Harbor 3: Manhasset (7-0) was led by Liam Connor with three goals and three assists and Aidan Haggerty with three goals and two assists. The nationally ranked Indians improved to 
7-0 with the victory. 
Wantagh 12, Island Trees 11, OT: Danny Fisenne scored five goals and freshman Devin Paccione had four assists for Wantagh (7-2). Anthony Saragosi made 17 saves for Island Trees (5-4). John Echezuria scored five goals and added an assist for the Bulldogs. 
Plainedge 12, Lynbrook 4: Plainedge improves to 8-1 overall thanks to Braden Donnellan's three goals and three assists and Jack Murray's goal and four assists. Jake Lunati made 11 saves for Lynbrook (4-4). 
Seaford 6, Floral Park 4: Six different players scored for Seaford (5-4) in the Vikings 6-4 win over Floral Park. The Knights (3-6) were led by Owen Sanchez with two goals. 
Carey 8, North Shore 3: Rich Metzger made 16 saves for the Seahawks (6-2). Matt Metzger had two goals and an assist and Chris Obertis had four points (2g, 2a) in the victory. Luca Korte assisted on all of the goals for North Shore (4-5). 
Bethpage 10, Friends Academy 6: Down 3-2 at half, Bethpage outscored Friends 6-0 in the third quarter to secure the victory. Ryan Dupre scored three goals and Sean Smith had two goals and two assists for Bethpage (4-4) and goalie Jake Kelly made 19 saves. Clark Beard and Will Bystrom both had two goals and two assists for the Quakers (3-3). 
Lawrence 5, West Hempstead 3: Kody Kircher scored three goals and had an assist for Lawrence (4-6) and Amari Elliott made 16 saves. Gavin Lee scored all three goals for West Hempstead (3-4). 
Locust Valley 16, Clarke 9: Conner Terrell scored six goals with two assists for Locust Valley. Harrison Blair (2g, 5a) and Owen Hickey (2g, 4a) were the other high scorers for the Falcons (6-2). Joe Buffalino made 19 saves and Joey Kern scored three goals for Clarke (4-2).
Hewlett 11, Malverne/East Rockaway 2: Hewlett was led by Ryan Goodman who totaled seven points via five goals and two assists. With the win, the Bulldogs improved their record to 3-4. 

In Conference A:
Oceanside 15, Valley Stream 0: Nicky Cairo scored twice and had two assists and Jake Perinchief scored three times for the Sailors (5-3). 
Farmingdale 15, Port Washington 5: Brendan O'Keefe scored two goals and assisted on four others for Farmingdale (6-3). Chris Bergersen scored four goals for the Dalers and Cal Gober had two goals for the Vikings (4-3). 

In non-league play:
Wheatley/Carle Place 4, Bellmore JFK 1: Strong goalie play highlighted this low-scoring affair. Wheatley/Carle Place (6-3) received 19 saves from James Demakopoulos while Ben Greco made 17 saves for Bellmore JFK (4-5).
