Garden City advanced to the NYS Class B championship with a dominant 14-3 win over Warwick Valley (Section IX) on Wednesday at Middletown High School. The Trojans scored the first 11 goals of the game and were led by Charlie Koester and Anthony Asaro who each scored three goals. Ben Smith had four assists and Luke Cascadden won 8 of 9 faceoffs. Garden City (20-2) will play Canadaigua on Saturday, June 14th at Hobart College at 5:30 pm for the state title. The Trojans have won nine state championships in school history.
