Full Slate Friday
With fifteen games on tap, this was one of the busiest Friday's of the season so far. Garden City had a big win over Calhoun in Conference B while Syosset edged Cold Spring Harbor in their annual non-league game that, as usual, did not disappoint Nassau lacrosse fans.
Hicksville 12, Plainview JFK 9: The Comets (4-3) were led by Brendan Dalton (2g-5a) and Jesse Brentrewicz (3g). Peter Agapito won 14 of 25 faceoffs and Fred Giovanelli made 12 saves for Hicksvile. Andrew Greenbaum had three goals and three assists for Plainview JFK (4-6). [ BOX SCORE]

Jack Archer had four goals and three assists for the Trojans and RJ Votruba and Brayden Robertiello combined to win 19 of 28 faceoffs. Harley Finkelstein (2g-1a), Jake Lewis (1g-2a), and A.J. Carey 8, Seaford 5: Christian Todaro scored four goals and Chris Obertis had two goals and one assist for Carey (7-2) in an 8-5 win over Seaford. Freshman Brian Falk had two goals and an assist for the Vikings (5-5).

Bethpage 6, Hewlett 5: Jake Kelly made nine saves in goal to lead Bethpage (5-4) over Hewlett. Ryan Dupre scored two goals for the Golden Eagles. Jake Goodman scored all five goals for the Bulldogs (3-5). [ BOX SCORE]
Locust Valley 14, Mineola 9: Shane Pollard (5g-1a), Philip Terrell (2g-3a), and Owen Hickey (4g-0a) led the Falcons (7-2) to the win over Mineola (4-5). Jack McCormack scored five goals and added an assist for the Mustangs. [ BOX SCORE]
South Side 9, Wantagh 3: Michael Melkonian won 13 of 16 faceoffs and Michael Aiello added three goals for South Side (7-2) in non-league. Tommy Gentile made 8 saves in the win. Kyle Conklin had 10 saves in goal for Wantagh (7-3). [ BOX SCORE]
Oyster Bay 8, Division Avenue 3: Jagger Romano scored four goals and Jake Macri added two goals to lead Oyster Bay (4-2). Timothy Stanley had two goals for Division (4-7). [ BOX SCORE]
Port Washington 15, MacArthur 3: John McCarthy (4g-1a) and Luke Meyer (2g-3a) led Port Washington (5-3) in non-league. Rocco Hogan scored all three goals for MacArthur (3-5). [ BOX SCORE]
Syosset 6, Cold Spring Harbor 5: Adam Giovinco's goal with 1:03 left in the game was the winner for Syosset (5-4). Zachary Finkelstein had nine saves in goals for the Braves. Giovinco finished with two goals and Dylan Stadler had a goal and two assists for Syosset. [ BOX SCORE]
Hempstead 5, Sewanhaka 4: Adrian Beltre made 24 saves for Hempstead (4-4), which won their fourth game in a row. Ja'Mir Andrews had three goals and an assist for the Tigers. AJ Ayau (2g-1a) was the high scorer for Sewanhaka (0-10).
Long Beach 9, Oceanside 6: Luke Hartman (2g-4a) and Jack Miller (3g-2a) were the high scorers for Long Beach 6-3). Freshman Aiden Derupo made eight saves for the win. Oceanside (5-4) was led by Jake Perinchief (2g-2a) and Andrew Piccola (2g).[ BOX SCORE]
Manhasset 6, Ridgefield (Ct) 5: The Indians (8-0) remain undefeated after eding Connecticut powerhouse Ridgefield, 6-5, at home in non-league play.
