Tuesday: Final Games in Conferences B and C/D For the 2023 Season

Garden City 16, Bellmore JFK 1: Henry Gibbons had three goals and two assists to lead Garden City (12-4) over Bellmore JFK in Conference B. Andrew Ottomanelli had two goals and two assists for the Trojans.  Bellmore JFK (8-8) goaltender Benjamin Greco made 19 saves in the loss, giving him 227 for the season (14.2 per game). 

Calhoun 15, Glen Cove 4: Jake Lewis had three goals and three assists for Calhoun (13-3) in Conference B. Max Mescolotto added four goals and an assist for the Colts. Nick Ladeairous scored two goals for Glen Cove (3-13). 

Long Beach 16, New Hyde Park 4:  Jack Miller (4g-6a) totaled 10 points for Long Beach in their 16-4 win over New Hyde Park (7-9) in Conference B. Charlie Conway (4) and Luke Hartman (3) totaled seven goals for the Marines (9-7), and Chip Buehre won 18 of 21 faceoffs. Aidan Garvey had a goal and an assist in the loss for New Hyde Park.  

Roslyn 12, Division Avenue 0: Goaltenders Jacob Goldberg and Zach Mashaal combined for five saves and pitched a shutout for Roslyn over Division Avenue (7-9) in Conference B. The Bulldogs Alex Siegel had five goals and two assists and Alex Gatto added four assists. Colin Lambert made 18 saves in goal for Division. 

Herricks 19, Great Neck North 7: Riley Royals scored six goals and had an assist for Herricks (5-11) in Conference B. Joey Chimenti chipped in with four goals and two assists for the Highlanders, and Nate Kershaw scored three goals. Daniel Perlman had six points (5g-1a) in the loss for the Blazers (9-7). Perlman finished the season with 91 goals and 24 assists. The 91 goals are the second most in a season in Nassau County history, behind only Dean Gibbons of Garden City (101 in 2006). 

Mepham 17, Sewanhaka 2: Alessandro Walaitis (4g-5a), Liam Williams (3g-5a), and Owen Heller (2g-2a) were the high scorers for Mepham (7-9) in their Conference B win over Sewanhaka (0-16). 

Floral Park, Wheatley/Carle Place: Owen Sanchez scored a career-high four goals to lead Floral Park in Conference C/D. Steven Baranoski chipped in with three goals and an assist for the Knights (5-11). James Demakopoulos had 18 saves for Wheatley/Carle Place (9-7), giving him 210 for the season. 

South Side 18, Jericho 0: Thirteen players scored for South Side (12-4) in their 18-0 win over Jericho in Conference B. Timmy Erickson was the high scorer with a goal and three assists. Michael Melkonian went 9 for 9 facing off and scored a goal. Brandon Klein made 11 saves for Jericho (6-10).

MacArthur 15, Great Neck South 5: Joe Forcelli had two goals and three assists for MacArthur (8-8) in Conference B. Tyler Cheswick scored twice and had four assists for the Generals, and  Alex Varga had four goals and an assist. Demetri Stavrinides score twice for Great Neck North (9-7).
