Nassau Class C First Round: Bethpage and North Shore Advance

Bethpage 4, Hewlett 3:  Four different players scored a goal for #8 Bethpage in the Golden Eagles 4-3 victory over #9 Hewlett in the first round of the Nassau Class C playoffs. Sean Smith and Bryce Wylie each had a goal and an assist for Bethpage, and goaltender Jake Kelly made 12 saves and held Hewlett to one second half goal. Bethpage improves to 8-9 and will play at top-seeded Manhasset (15-1) on Tuesday. Hewlett finishes at 7-9. 

Norh Shore 8, Seaford 6: Tenth-seeded North Shore outscored #7 Seaford 4-0 in the fourth quarter to win their Nassau Class C first round playoff game played at Seaford High School.  Jack Kaufman led the Vikings (9-8) with two goals and three assists and Andrew Fabiilli made 20 saves in goal to earn the win. Col Gibstein won eight faceoffs, giving him a county-leading 223 faceoff victories for the season. North Shore advances to play at second-seeded Wantagh on Tuesday. Seaford finishes at 9-8.
