Nassau Class A Quarterfinal Results

Farmingdale 18, Plainview JFK 2: Top seeded Farmingdale scored ten first quarter goals en route to a 18-2 win over #8 Plainview JFK in the quarterfinal round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Jake Norton had five points (2g-3a), all the first quarter, to lead all scorers as Farmingdale had thirteen different players score a goal in the contest. Ethan Schwatrzberg and Sam Warren scored goals for Plainview JFK (6-11). The Dalers (14-3) will play at 5:30 pm on Thursday, May 25th in the Class A semifinals.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Port Washington 18, Port Washington 6: Luke Meyer had three goals and two assists to lead #2 seed and defending Class A champion Port Washington over #7 seeded Hicksville, 18-7. Carlos Stolper added three goals for the Vikings (12-4) who will play #3 seeded Massapequa on Thursday, May 25th at Hofstra at 3:30 pm in the Class A semifinals. [ BOX SCORE] 

Massapequa 20, Baldwin 0:  #3 seeded Massapequa (9-8) scored ten first quarter goals and never looked back, routing #6 Baldwin, 20-0 in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals. Leading the scoring for Massapequa (9-8) was Michael Durnin (2g-6a), Patrick Radomski (4g-2a), Tyler Byrnes (4g-2a), and Jack Garguilo (3g-1a). Baldwin finishes the season at 9-7. Massapequa will play #2 seeded Port Washington on Thursday, May 25th at 3:30 pm at Hofstra in the Class A semifinals.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Syosset 12, Oceanside 5: #4 seeded Syosset defeated #5 Oceanside, 12-5 in the quarterfinal round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Dylan Stadler led Syosset with three goals and one assist, David Disque had two goals and two assists, and Zachary Finkelstein made nine saves in goal. Syosset will play #1 Farmingdale on Thursday in the semifinals at Hosftra at 5:30 pm. Oceanside finishes at 9-8. [ BOX SCORE]
