Class C Semifinals: Manhasset and Wantagh Advance

Manhasset 15, Lynbrook 5: Top seeded and defending Class C state champion Manhasset improved their record to 17-1 with a 15-5 win over #5 seeded Lynbrook in the Nassau Class C semifinals. Liam Connor and Jack Petersen each had three goals and three assists and Cal Girard won 14 of 16 faceoffs and added a goal for the Indians. Michael Hendrickson scored twice and Michael Fagen had a goal and two assists for Lynbrook, who finished the season at 9-9. Manhasset will play #2 seed Wantagh on Wednesday, May 31st for the Nassau C title at 5:00 pm at Hofstra University. 

Wantagh 9, Plainedge 7: Jake Martini had four goals and two assists to lead #2 Wantagh over #3 Plainedge in the Nassau Class C semifinals. Freshman Devin Paccione added two goals and an assist and Kyle Conklin made eight saves in goal for the Warriors. Caden Morra scored four goals for Plainedge, who finished the season with a record of 12-6. Wantagh plays #1 Manhasset for the Class C title on Wednesday, May 31st at 5:00 pm at Hofstra University.
