Senior Jack Garguilo scored five goals and added an assist to lead Massapequa past Herricks in the opening game in Nassau County of the 2024 season. Sophomore Tyler Byrnes had a goal and four assists for the Chiefs, who have won five straight games against Herricks. Leading the scoring for Herricks was junior attackman Troy Madden with four points (2g, 2a). Defenseman Gavin Lamere had ten ground balls and two caused turnovers for the Highlanders.
