GAME RESULTS FOR FRIDAY MARCH 22

OCEANSIDE 15 - BALDWIN 5:  The Sailors jumpped out to a 10-1 halftime lead enroute to a 15-5 victory over Baldwin. Oceanside faceoff trio of Dylan Tveter, Jacob Stern and Liam Reynolds won a combined 20 of 24 faceoffs. Dylan Bender had 3 caused turnovers while holding Baldwin's Brady Mahler scoreless.

CAREY 13 - JERICHO 1: The Carey attack of Ethan Pelzer (4g/2a), Chris Obertis (3g, 1a) and Christian Todaro (2g,1a) led the Seahawks scoring, while Josh Aviles was a perfect 14 for 14 at the faceoff X. Josh Rubin scored the lone Jayhawk goal.

CALHOUN 17 - ELMONT 1: Nick Voll led the Colts scoring with 5 goals. This is the 7th win in a row for Calhoun over Elmont dating back to 2001. Vincent Lafey scored for Elmont.

LONG BEACH 14 - SEWANHAKA 1: Nine different players scored for Long Beach in their 14-1 victory over Sewanhaka. Leading the Marines were Maverick Chernoff with 4 goals, Rory Ahearn with 2 goals and 3 assists and Charlie Conway with 1 goal and 2 assists.

ROSLYN 16 - GLEN COVE 1: Leading the scoring for the Bulldogs were Josh Berger (4g, 1a) Spencer Cymbler (3g, 1a) and Charlie Samter (3g, 1a). This is the 8th win in a row for Roslyn over the Big Red. Glen Cove goalie Matteo Cameron had 14 saves, including his 400th career save.

NEW HYDE PARK 14 - GREAT NECK NORTH 4:  Cody McClean had a career high 5 goals and 1 assist to lead the Gladiators over Great Neck North. Aidan Garvey (4,4), Logan Hargrove (3gs) and Nick Garofalo (2g, 5a) rounded out the NHP scoring. Goalie Matt Muntzenberger recorded 7 saves for his first career win. Daniel Perlman and Aidan Lam each scored 2 for the Blazers.

ISLAND TREES 11 - LYNBROOK 3: Island Trees avenged their season ending loss to Lynbrook with an 11-3 victory. Leading the way for the Bulldogs offense were Joh Echezuria (4g), Kian McCoy (3g) and Joseph Filcarno (1g, 4a). Junior goalie Anthony Saragossi made 10 saves in the victory.

MINEOLA 15 - MALVERN/EAST ROCKAWAY - 4: Jack McCormack scored 6 goals and Rusty Carr and John Cosgrove each scored 3 enroute to the Mustang victory. MER goalie Matt Larin recorded his 200th save.   

SOUTH SIDE 12 - SYOSSET 7: Michael Melkonian won 16 of 21 faceoffs as South Side beat Syosset 12-7 in their power league debut. Cole DiPietro and Cullen Lynch each scored 3 goals and Michael Aiello and Owen West added 2 apiece. Michael Muscarella had 11 saves for the Cyclones. 

VALLEY STREAM 6 - LAWRENCE 0:  The Valley Stream goalie tandem of Junior Roberts and Landon Somerville held Lawrence scoreless in Valley Stream's 6-0 victory over Lawrence. Nabil Oza (2g,1a) and Khaiden Ward each scored 2 in the victory. 

COMMACK 8 - MASSAPEQUA 7: Commack outscored Massapequa 3-1 in the 4th quarter to take the 8-7 victory. The Chiefs were led by Jack Garguilo with 3 goals.

MACARTHUR 14 - DIVISION 3:  MacArthur outscored Division 10-1 in the 2nd half to pull away with the win. Jake Larocca had 2 goals for the Blue Dragons.
