GAME SUMMARIES FOR SATURDAY, MARCH 23rd

Plainview JFK 15, Freeport 6
Sophomore Josef Saueracker totaled nine points (5g-4a) for Plainview JFK in an opening day win over Freeport. Nick Altmann (3g-3a), and Christopher Tripoli (3g-2a) were also major offensive contributors for the Hawks. [ BOX SCORE] 

Plainedge 14, Locust Valley 7
Owen Donnellan led Plainedge (2-1) with four goals and three assists. Jack O'Connor scored four goals for the Red Devils and Jake Anglim, Matthew Barry, and Nick Coscino combined to win 12 of 17 faceoffs. Owen Hickey (3g-1a), and Philip Terrell (3g-0a) were the high scorers for the Falcons (0-1). [ BOX SCORE] 

Mepham 15, Herricks 6
Mepham (2-0) was led offensively by Alessandro Walaitis (5g-0a) and Owen Heller (4g-1a). Dylan Honerkamp totaled 11 saves for the Pirates. [ BOX SCORE] 

Floral Park 17, West Hempstead 3
Owen Sanchez (2g-3a), Steven Baranoski (2g-2a), Ben Meighan (2g-2a), and James Gorman (2g-1a) were the offensive stars for Floral Park (2-0) in Nassau Conference C/D. West Hempstead (0-1) received  two goals from Stephen Poirot in the loss. [ BOX SCORE] 

Wheatley/Carle Place 13, Clarke 1
Blake Lyons (2g-4a) and Nicholas Pascarella (3g-2a) led the Wheatley/Carle Place offense in home victory over Clarke (0-2). Luke Parise won all 15 of his faceoffs for Wheatley/Carle Place (1-2).    [ BOX SCORE] 

Friends Academy 7, Bellmore JFK 1
Raymond Torchia scored the lone goal for Bellmore JFK  and Jack LaGalia made eight saves in the loss.  [ BOX SCORE]
