There was a light schedule on the first day of April with only two games played, both in Conference B.
West Hempstead 10, Elmont 7
The Rams won their first game of the season by defeating host Elmont in Nassau Conference B action. Gavin Lee had five points (2g, 3a), Kayden Nuzzi (2g, 2a) had four points, and Daniel Sanchez made 10 saves to lead West Hempstead (1-2). Carey 8, Roslyn 2
Christian Todaro scored three goals and had an assist and Chris Obertis had a goal and three assists to lead Carey (3-0) past visiting Roslyn in Nassau Conference B. Rich Metzger made nine saves in goal for the Sewhawks and Ethan Goldberg won 5 of 7 faceoffs for the Bulldogs (1-4). [ BOX SCORE]
