South Side Defeats Garden City For The First Time In 16 Years!
South Side 7, Garden City 4
Michael Muscarella made 13 saves to lead a South Side defense that held Garden City (3-2) to two goals over the first three quarters en-route to a 7-4 victory for the undefeated Cyclones (5-0). The home victory for South Side was their first against the Trojans in 16 years, and South Side had been 0-17 over that span. Michael Aiello was the high scorer for South Side with two goals and an assist, and faceoff star Michael Melkonian won 9 of 15 draws.
