Thursday: North Wins the Battle Of Great Neck

Great Neck North 9, Great Neck South 5
Dan Perlman scored five goals and added an assist to lead Great Neck North over Great Neck South. Sophomore Brian Scheidt made 18 saves in goal for the Blazers (2-5). Great Neck South (2-5) goaltender Robin Varughese made 10 saves in the loss.    [ BOX SCORE] 

St. Dominic 13, Friends Academy 9
Cooper Schultz scored three goals and an assist in 13-9 non-league loss to visiting St. Dominic.  Florence Campbell scored two goal and added an assist for the Quakers (3-4).   [ BOX SCORE] 

Jericho 16, Malverne/East Rockaway 5
Josh Rubin (7g-2a) totaled nine points and Jack Person (4g-3a) totaled seven to power Jericho past Malverne/East Rockaway (1-6). Malverne/East Rockaway's high scorer was Davion Thomas with two goals and an assist. [ BOX SCORE] 

Baldwin 11, Hicksville 9
Brady Mahler scored five times and added two assists to help Baldwin past Hicksville in Conference A. Logan Kirchner had two goals and two assists for the Bruins (4-2). James Kelly had six points (3g, 3a) and Frederick Giovanelli made 18 saves for the Comets (4-3).   [ BOX SCORE] 

Carey 16, Glen Cove 3
Carey (6-1) attackman Michael Carollo (3g-2a) totaled five points in a Conference B victory over Glen Cove. Matteo Cameron made 12 saves in the loss for Glen Cove (3-6). [ BOX SCORE] 

East Meadow 15, Elmont 4
East Meadow improved to 5-4 with dominant win over Elmont (1-6).  Jack Caracciola led the Jets with five goals and an assist.  Bryan Tauber and Thomas Primrose each scored three goals for East Meadow. [ BOX SCORE] 

Uniondale 10, Stony Brook 4
Uniondale picked up its first win of the year in a 10-4 non-league win over Stony Brook.  Adrian Ayala (4g-1a) led the way offensively for the Knights (1-4) and Dennis Argueta made 14 saves in goal. [ BOX SCORE]
