Last Games Of The 2024 Regular Season!

In the very two last games of the regular season in Nassau County before the playoffs begin, Friends Academy defeated Plainview JFK 11-10 and Chaminade downed Manhasset, 12-4.

Friends improved to 10-6 with the non-league victory, and the Quakers will play Oyster Bay in the Class D semifinals on May 23rd. Plainview was led by Nick Altmann and Alex Kantrowitz who each had three goals and an assist, and Christopher Tripoli had two goals and two assists. The Hawks are now 10-6 and will play at Farmingdale in the quarterfinal round of the Class A playoffs on Thursday.

In the annual Regs Rock Day of Heroes game, the Flyers (11-4) finished their season with a win over the host Indians (10-6). Chaminade scored the first four goals of the game and never trailed in the annual game played in honor of Jimmy Regan, a Manhasset resident, Chaminade alum, and Duke graduate who was killed while serving as a US Army Ranger in Afghanistan on February 9, 2007.

KEEP IN MIND

It`s a family; lacrosse is not like any other sport, it`s more of a way of life.
