O`Keefe, Aughavin Help the Archers Win PLL Championship
Congratulations to Nassau County alumni Mac O'Keefe and Ryan Aughavin for winning the PLL Championship with the Utah Archers this past Sunday in Philadelphia.
Congratulations to Nassau County alumni and Ryan Aughavin for winning the PLL Championship with the Utah Archers this past Sunday in Philadelphia.
O'Keefe, a graduate of Syosset HS and the 2016 John Krumenacker Award winner as the Nassau County Player of the Year as well as a US Lacrosse All-American, scored three goals in the championship game against the Maryland Whipsnakes. For O'Keefe, this was his second PLL championship, having won the title in 2021 as a member of the Chaos. He also has been an All-Star selection the past two years and graduated from Penn State in 2021 as the all-time leading goal scorer in NCAA history.

Aughavin, a graduate of North Shore HS, was a US Lacrosse All-American in 2017 and played college lacrosse at Brown University. While at Brown he was an All-Ivy selection and was the first Brown player drafted into the PLL in 2022. He has played his entire career with the Archers, who also won the PLL championship in 2023.
