2025 Nassau County Previews

With practices starting this week, Blaxeight.net is releasing a series of articles previewing the upcoming  2025 boys lacrosse season in Nassau. For the first time, boys lacrosse in Nassau will play league schedules completely based on ability groupings. Three leagues have been created completetly based on ability, with no regard to school size and New York State classification. At the conclusion of the regular season, teams will be seeded back into their four state classifications and complete for championships that culminate with the state finals on June 14th at Hobart College in upstate Geneva.

League 1 consists of the sixteen top programs as decided by the Nassau County Boys Lacrosse Coaches Association. Leagues 2 and 3 consist of 18 and 17 schools respectively. Steve Tripp, the head coach at Glen Cove, when asked about the new league alignments said "The switch to ability groupings will make for more competitive games from top to bottom. It should be a great year for all of Nassau County Lacrosse."

Move on to the next one. You can not make every save or score every shot. Have a short one and get the next one.
