Malverne-East Rockaway 9, West Hempstead 4
Junior attackman Matthew Delligatti had a hand in eight of the nine Malverne goals in a 9-4 League 3 win over West Hempstead. Delligatti had five goals and three assists and senior Hudson Arnold scored three times. Junior Kayden Nuzzi scored three of the four goals for West Hempstead (1-1) and assisted on the other. Edwin Serpas had four goals and three assists to lead Great Neck South past Glen Cove (1-1) in League 3 action. Locust Valley defeated Friends Academy in non-league action thanks to three goals and one assist from Owen Pye. Owen Pye. Port Washington 6, Sayville 5 OT
Tommy McCarvill scored his fourth goal of the game off a pass from Jacob Apat with 25 seconds left in the first overtime period to win the game for Port Washington. Harry Eynon scored with no time left in regulation to tie the game for the Vikings, who recieved clutch goaltending from Max Eynon (18 saves, 2 in overtime).
