Lynbrook Continues To Roll in League 2

Lynbrook 16, Division Avenue 4
The Owls improved to 6-1 with a 16-4 League 2 road victory over Division Avenue (1-5). Ten different players scored for Lynbrook, who received four goals and an assist from Bennet Voltano and a goal and three assists from Eddie Stradowski. Division junior Julien Tomala scored two times and Cristian Barone made 14 saves.

Wheatley/Carle Place 12, Hicksville 7
Colin Hoisik had four goals and three assists to lead Wheatley/ Carle Place (3-5) over Hicksville in League 2. Anthony Sampogna had two goals and and two assists and Aidan Butt added 3 goals for the Wildfrogs. Michael Gilbert scored four times and Chris Suflay made 17 saves for the Comets (2-4). [ BOX SCORE] 

Jericho 15, Sewanhaka 3
Jericho improved to 4-3 by defeating Sewanhaka 15-3 in League 2 action.  Junior attackman Hudson Gingold (2g-6a) had eight points and senior Jacob Munayirji won 17 of 18 faceoffs for the Jayhawks. Junior attackman AJ Ayau scored all three goals for Sewanhaka (0-8). [ BOX SCORE] 

Long Beach 8, Island Trees 3
Sophomore Cian Donaghy scored five times to lead Long Beach over Island Trees in League 2. Junior goaltender Aiden Derupo made 14 saves for the Marines (3-4). Senior Joe Filocamo led the Bulldogs (3-3) with three goals.

Plainview JFK 10, Mineola 3
The Hawks (5-2) were led by juniors Nick Altmann (1g-3a), Alex Kantrowitz (2g-2a), and Jake Ilardo (16 saves) in their 10-3 League 2 win over visiting Mineola. For the Mustangs (1-6), senior Will Massaro made 17 saves. [ BOX SCORE] 

North Shore 9, Floral Park 4
Nort Shore improved to 4-2 win a home victory over Floral Park in League 2. The Knights, who fell to 3-4, were led by seniors Charles Leary with three goals and James Gorman with three assists. [ BOX SCORE] 

Mepham 8, Locust Valley 2
Senior attackman Alessandro Walaitis scored four times to lead Mepham over Locust Valley in League 2. Sophomore James Schmitt had two assists for the Pirates who are 4-3. Freshman goaltender Grayson Iannotti made 16 saves for Locust Valley (3-4). [ BOX SCORE]
