Herricks and Great Neck South Break Nassau Scoring Record
Herricks and Great Neck South combined to break the Nassau record of 39 combined goals in a game that was set eleven years ago. The Highlanders defeated the Rebels today by the score of 25-15, setting a new record of 40 goals between two teams in one game. Troy Madden led Herricks with four goals and eight assists and Edwin Serpas had seven goals and three assists for South. Madden's teammate Brayden Haase added eight goals and three assists and Max Levinson had six goals for the Rebels. Interestingly, Great Neck South was one of the teams that was part of the prior record. On April 29, 2014, South defeated New Hyde Park by the score of 23-16, totaling 39 goals in the process.
