Class B First Round Results
#7 Mepham 16, #10 Jericho 7
Mepham built a 12-1 halftime lead in their 16-7 Nassau Class B first round victory over #10 Jericho. Braedon Kehoe won 15 of 17 faceoffs and scored two goals for the Pirates (10-7), who also received three goals and one assist from Alessandro Walaitis and a goal and three assists from Connor O'Rourke. Josh Rubin had a hand in six of the seven Jericho goals, finishing with three goals and three assists. Jonathan Perlman made 16 saves for the Jayhawks (6-11). #7 seed Mepham will play at #2 seed Manhasset on Friday in the quarterfinals. [ BOX SCORE]

#8 MacArthur 10, #9 Hewlett 3
Caden Cullen made nine saves and allowed only two scores over 46 minutes of game action to lead #8 MacArthur past #9 Hewlett in the first round of the Nassau Class B playoffs. Tyler Cheswick had four goals and three assists and Gavin Thompson had a score and two assists for the Generals (11-6).
