Second seeded South Side (12-6) used a strong second half to defeat #3 Seaford in the Nassau Class C semifinals at Hofstra. Tied 3-3 at halftime, the Cyclones ouscored Seaford 5-1 in the third quarter to take control of the game. Alec Notaro won 20 of 21 faceoffs for South Side and Kieran Vetter scored four goals for South Side. Brian Falk of Seaford led all scorers with five goals and an assist. South Side advances to meet #1 Wantagh in the Nassau Class C championship game on Monday, June 1st at Hofstra at 7:30 pm. Seaford finishes the season with a record of 8-10.
