Thursday Games Are In!
Only four games were played on Thursday, March 30. The results are as follows:
Calhoun 18, Island Trees 10: Leading the scoring for Calhoun (3-0) was Jake Lewis (5g-3a), and the brother duo of Harley (3g-3a) and Jayden Finkelstein (3g-3a). A.J. Molinari added four goals for the Colts and Ryan Menghi won 19 of 25 faceoffs. Plainview JFK 8, Wheatley/Carle Place 2: In the second game of the First Annual Mineola Classic Tournament, Andrew Greenbaum led the Hawks with three goals. Mineola 13, New Hyde Park 6: Tommy Renner scored 3 goals and had 3 assists in the first game of the First Annual Mineola Classic Tournament. Peter Irish added 3 goals and 2 assists and Eric Rosati made 10 saves in goal. Mineola will play Plainview JFK in the championship on Saturday at 4 PM.
