Monday: Cold Spring Harbor Wins In OT & Manhasset Stays Unbeaten

Monday saw Cold Spring Harbor win another other overtime thriller and the Manhasset Indians remain unbeaten. 

Baldwin 13, Freeport 5: Brady Mahler led Baldwin with six goals and three assists in this Conference A matchup. Matthew Drayton led the Red Devils with three goals. Both teams are currently 3-2.     [ BOX SCORE] 

Cold Spring Harbor 8, Yorktown 7, OT: Sam Bruno scored the game winner for the Seahawks (3-1) in a game played at Yorktown HS. CJ Reilly and Alex Bauer each scored two goals and Carson Kirchner finished with 11 saves.     [ BOX SCORE] 

Mineola 18, Oyster Bay 12:  Jack McCormack had 6 goals and 3 assists while Tommy Renner added 5 goals and 2 assists to lead Mineola in Conference C/D play. CJ Kelly, Peter Irish and Joe O’Connell scored 2 goals each for Mineola (4-1).  Leading the scoring for Oyster Bay (3-1) was Jake Macri with four goals and one assist. [ BOX SCORE] 

Friends Academy 15, Glen Cove 1: Sophomore Clark Beard (5g-2a), junior Cooper Schultz (3g-4a), senior Will Bystrom (2g-2a), and junior Thomas Posillico (2g-1a) were the leading scorers for Friends Academy.     [ BOX SCORE] 

Clarke 14, West Hempstead 1: Gabriel Cobham led Clarke (4-1) with three goals and three assists. Joe Buffalino made eight saves in the win and Lucas Barsuaskas (3g-2a), Aidan Peters (2g-3a), and Nick Iannucci (2g-3a) did the scoring for the Rams. Senior goalie Dan Clark made 17 saves for West Hempstead (1-3). He has now more than 200 saves in his career.    BOX SCORE] 

Wheatley/Carle Place 13, Lawrence 6: Anthony Sampogna scored five goals to lead Wheatley/Carle Place (5-2). Chris Demicco had 2 goals and 2 assists. James Demakopoulos made 13 saves. Defenseman JJ Gagilardo added two assists. Leading the scoring for Lawrence (2-3) was Kody Kirchner with three goals and two assists and Quinn Kerins with three goals.  [ BOX SCORE]

Locust Valley 14, Malverne/East Rockaway 1: Connor Terrell and Shane Pollard both scored three goals for Locust Valley (3-1).  Charlie Dickman had 12 saves and Owen Pye totaled 15 ground balls. Malverne/East Rockaway is 1-3. [ BOX SCORE] 

Plainedge 12, Island Trees 4: Attackmen Braden Donnellan (3g-5a) and  Caden Morra (4g-2a) were the leading scorers for Plainedge (3-1) Plainedge goalie Chris Santacroce earned the win making 14 saves. Island Trees (2-2) goalie Anthony Saragossi stood tall with 13 saves in the loss.     [ BOX SCORE] 

Manhasset 16, Carey 1: Eleven different players scored for unbeaten Manhasset (3-0). Daniel Kolin scored three goals and Michael Mondiello had two goals and an assist.  Manhasset hosts Connecticut power Darien on Saturday.     [ BOX SCORE]
