Tuesday: Massapequa, Garden City, and South Side With Big Victories

Garden City 7, Radnor (Pa) 6: Stevie Finnell had 4 goals and 1 assist for Garden City (3-1) in non-league. Denis Fargione had 12 saves and Cole Webber led the defense with three caused turnovers and five ground balls.  [ BOX SCORE] 

South Side 16, Long Beach 11: Owen West had 4 goals and 3 assists and Michael Aiello added 4 goals and 2 assists. for South Side (3-1). Michael Melkonian won 21 of 24 faceoffs for Cyclones. Tommy Gentile crossed the 300 career saves plateau in the win. Long Beach (1-3) was led by Luke Hartman with four goals and one assist.[ BOX SCORE] 

Massapequa 16, Oceanside 5: Massapequa (1-3) picked up their first win in their Conference A opener.  Patrick Radomski (3g-3a), Michael Durnin (1g-4a), and Aidan Christie (3g-2a) led the scoring for the Chiefs. Andrew Cagno made 10 saves in goal for the Sailors (2-2).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Syosset 18, Uniondale 0: Thirteen different players scored for the Braves in the Conference A win over Uniondale (0-4). Syosset (2-2) was led by Brody waxer with three goals and one assist and Dylan Stadler with two goals and two assists.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Farmingdale 9, Calhoun 7: Farmingdale (2-1) knocked Calhoun (4-1) from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 9-7 non-league win. Brendan O'Keefe scored three goals for the Dalers and Mike Ippoliti made 9 saves for the win. AJ Molinari scored all four of his goals in the second half for Calhoun, while Mark Restivo made 10 saves for the Colts.   [ BOX SCORE]

Cold Spring Harbor 13, Floral Park 3: CJ Reilly had a goal and two asissts to lead the Seahawks win in Conference C/D. Eleven different players scored for Cold Spring Harbor. Ben Meighan scored twice for Floral Park (2-2).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Jericho 9, New Hyde Park 6: Dylan Chawla lead Jericho (2-3) with three goals, Hudson Gingold and James Rush contributed two goals each and Brandon Klein had 18 saves in goal. Aidan Garvey had two goals and two assists for New Hyde Park (2-3).   [ BOX SCORE] 

Division Ave 12, Elmont 3: Division (2-3) won their first league game downing Elmont in Conference B. 12-3. Liam Burns led the offense with five assists and two goals. Dylan O'Connor tallied four goals and Jake LaRocca chipped in with three. Elmont (1-3) sophomore goalie Juluis Sylvain-Jankins made 21 saves in the loss.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Great Neck North 13, Sewanhaka 3: Brian Scheidt recorded his first varsity win in goal and made eight saves. Daniel Perlman led the Blazers (1-2) with 6 goals. Sewanhaka (0-5) goalie Jalen Brown had 24 saves in the loss.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Roslyn 9, Mepham 8: Leading the scoring for Roslyn (4-0) was Alex Siegel (2g-3a) and Alex Gatto (2g-2a). Own Heller scored four goals for Mepham (1-3) in the loss.    [ BOX SCORE] 

Plainview JFK 13, Hempstead 4: Andrew Greenbaum (5g-2a and LSM Gavin Lamere (2g-1a) were the leading scorers for Plainview JFK (4-2). Charley Jimenez had all four goals for Hempstead(0-3). Goalie Adrian Beltre had 14 saves in the loss.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Port Washington 17, Hicksville 0: Leading the scoring for Port Washington (2-2) was Luke Meyer (3g-2a), Steve Braunshweiger (4g), and John McCarthy (2g-1a). Hicksville falls to 3-2 with the loss. 

Bellmore JFK 15, Great Neck South 7: Joe Battaglia scored five goals and three assists, and Max Zaransky scored seven goals with an assist for Bellmore JFK (3-2). Goaltender Ben Greco recorded 16 saves for the Cougars. Great Neck South (2-2) was led by Dylan Guriel with three goals and one assist and George Toumbekis with 3 goals.  [ BOX SCORE]
