FRIDAY, MARCH 22nd GAME SUMMARIES

South Side 12, Syosset 7
South Side (2-0) was led ofensively by Michael Aiello (2g-2a), Cole DiPietro (3g-1a), and Cullen Lynch (3g-1a). Michael Melkonian won 16 of 21 faceoffs and Michael Muscarella made 11 saves for the Cyclones. David Disque scored two goals and added two assists for Syosset (0-2). [ BOX SCORE] 

Oceanside 15, Baldwin 5
Dylan Tveter, Jacob Stern, and Liam Reynolds won a combined 20 of 24 faceoffs to lead Oceanside past Baldwin. Brian Kraemer scored three goals and added an assist for the Sailors, and teammates Andrew Dato scored three goals and Michael Madden had two goals and three assists. Logan Kirchner and Brady mahler each scored two goals for the Bruins.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Carey 13, Jericho 1
Ethan Pelzer scored four goals and added two assists and Chris Obertis and three goals and an assist to lead Carey (1-0) past Jericho. Josh Aviles won all 14 of his faceoffs taken for the Seahawks. Josh Rubin scored the lone goal for Jericho (1-1).    [ BOX SCORE] 

Calhoun 17, Elmont 1
Calhoun improved to 3-0 with a dominant win over visiting Elmont. Nicholas Voll (5g-2a), and Harley Finkelstein (2g-3a) were the high scorers for the Colts.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Long Beach 14, Sewanhaka 1
Maverick Chernoff scored four goals to lead Long Beach over Sewanhaka. Rory Ahern added two goals and three assists as nine different players scored for the Marines. [ BOX SCORE] 

Roslyn 16, Glen Cove 1
Josh Berger (4g-1a), Spencer Cymbler (3g-1a), and Charlie Samter (3g-1a) were the high scorers for Roslyn (1-1). Ethan Goldberg (8 of 9) and Mason Wagman (7 of 7) won 15 of 16 faceoffs for Roslyn. Glen Cove (1-1) goalie Matteo Cameron made 14 saves in the loss, including the 400th of his career.     [ BOX SCORE] 

New Hyde Park 14, Great Neck North 4
Aidan Garvey (4g-4a), Nicholas Garofalo (2g-5a), and Cody McLean (5g-1a) were the leading scorers for New Hyde Park in a home voctory over Great Neck North. Dan Perlman and Aidan Lam each score two goals for the Blazers (1-1).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Commack 8, Massapequa 7
Jack Garguilo scored three goals for Massapequa (1-2) in a home non-league loss to Commack. Michael Jannotte made twelve saves for the Chiefs. Down by two at halftime, Commack outscored Massapequa 5-2 in the second half to earn the victory. [ BOX SCORE] 

MacArthur 14, Division Avenue 3
Jake LaRocca scored two goals for Division Avenue (0-2) in a home loss to MacArthur (1-1). [ BOX SCORE] 

Island Trees 11, Lynbrook 3
Joseph Filocamo (1g-4a), John Echezuria (4g-0a), and Kian McCoy (3g-0a) were the high scorers for Island Trees in the Bulldogs opening game at Lynbrook (1-1).  Anthony Saragossi finished with ten saves for Island Trees. Caiden Lung made 17 saves for Lynbrook (1-1).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Mineola 15, Malverne-East Rockaway 4
Mineola improved to 2-0 behind the scoring of Jack McCormack (6g-1a), Joe O'Connell (1g-4a), and Rusty Carr (3g-1a). Carr also won 11-18 faceoffs. Matthew Delligatti finished with two goals and an assist for Malverne-East Rockaway (1-1). [ BOX SCORE] 

Valley Stream 6, Lawrence 0
Nabil Oza scored two goals and added an assist and Anthony Vitulllo had a goal and two assists for Valley Stream (1-1) in non-league. [ BOX SCORE] 

Bayport-Blue Point 8, Wantagh 7
Down 8-3 entering the fourth, Wantagh rallied by scoring four straight goals but the rally fell just short in an 8-7 non-league loss to Bayport-Blue Point. Dylan Martini, Jake Martini, and Luke Martini each scored two goals for the Warriors and Gianni Passaro made 15 saves.  [ BOX SCORE]
