Results From Friday, April 5th- Calhoun Remains Undefeated!

Calhoun 12, Mepham 11
Calhoun reamined undefeated by defeating host Mepham in Conference B, 12-11.  Harley Finkelstein led the Colts (6-0) with four goals and an assist and Mark Restivo made 16 saves in goal. Mepham was down 9-3 at halftime, but rallied with seven third quarter goals. Liam Williams (3g-3a), Owen Heller (4a), and James Henningson (4g-0a) were the offensive leaders for the Pirates (3-2). [ BOX SCORE] 

East Meadow 12, Hempstead 3
Bryan Tauber scored six times and added an assist and Thomas Primrose scored three goals for East Meadow (3-3) in Conference A. Hempstead falls to 0-4 with the loss. [ BOX SCORE] 

Hicksville 9, Plainview JFK 5
Hicksville (3-2) was led by James Kelly (3g-2a), Jesse Brentrewicz (3g-1a), and Michael Gilbert (2g-2a). Frederick Giovanelli made 15 saves for the Comets, who improved to 2-1 in Conference A. Sophomore Jake Ilardo made 13 saves for Plainview JFK (2-3)   [ BOX SCORE] 

North Shore 16, Oyster Bay 4
North Shore (3-2) picked up a Conference C/D victory by downing host Oyster Bay. Sawyer DeSeve (5g-4a) and  Matthew D`Aversa (4g-2a) led the Vikings offensively and Alex Choi won 17 of 23 faceoffs. Chris Lingen had a goal and an assist for the Baymen (2-2).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Mineola 16, Clarke 4
Jack McCormack scored five goals and added two assists for undefeated Mineola (7-0). Matthew McCarthy added a goal and five assists and Joe O`Connell scored four times and had an assist for the Mustangs. Lucas Barsuaskas scored two goals and added an assist for Clarke (0-6).  [ BOX SCORE]

Syosset 11, Kellenberg 10
Syosset picked up their first win of the year by downing Kellenberg (2-3) of the CHSAA in non-league.  David Disque scored five goals and added an assist and Giovanni Accardo (2g-1a) and  Brody Waxer (1g-2a) also had stroing performances for the Braves (1-3). [ BOX SCORE] 

Hewlett 14, Lawrence 0
Luke Rochler (2g-6a), Ryan Rovner (3g-2a), and Myles King (2g-2a) were the oiffensive stars for Hewlett (3-2) in Conference C/D. Rochler also won all 12 of his faceoffs. Lawrence falls to 0-6 with the loss. [ BOX SCORE] 

Wantagh 20, Locust Valley 7
Sophomore Devin Paccione had six goals and four assists to lead Wantagh (3-2) past Locust Valley. Dylan Martini had five goals and four assists and Jake Martini added four goals while Will Greaves won an amazing 25 of 31 faceoffs for the Warriors. Locust Valley (1-4) received five goals from Philip Terrell. [ BOX SCORE] 

Plainedge 8, Lynbrook 5
Plainedge (5-3) defeated Lynbrook in Conference C/D. Domenico Moscato (2g-1a), Owen Donnellan (2g-1a), and Brian Keaveney (3a) were the high scorers and Vincent Fuentes made 16 saves for the Red Devils. Goalie Caiden Lung made 14 saves for the Owls (2-3).    [ BOX SCORE] 

Bellmore JFK 11, West Hempstead 2
Bellmore JFK picked up its second win of the season by defeating West Hempstead in Conference C/D. (2-4) Zach Greenseid had two goals and five assists for the Cougars andfreshman C.J. Seigler won all 10 of his faceoffs. West Hempstead (1-4) was led by Gavin Lee who had a goal and an assist.    [ BOX SCORE] 

Floral Park 8, Friends Academy 3
Floral Park remained unbeaten thanks to Ben Meighan`s five goals in a Conference C/D victory over Friends Academy. The Knights are now 6-0. Friends Academy falls to 2-2 with the loss.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Baldwin 10, Valley Stream 2
Brady Mahler had five goals and two assists in Baldwin`'s 10-2 victory over Valley Stream (2-5) in Conference A. Landon Somerville made 13 saves for Valley Stream and Preston Kirchner had a goal and three assists for the Bruins (2-2).    [ BOX SCORE] 

Seaford 12, Island Trees 6
Seaford improved to 5-1 with an impressive win over Island Trees (2-2) in Conference C/D.  Daniel Barone had a goal and five assists, Tim Navin scored four times, and defender Jake Anzelone scored twice and won 12 of 20 faceoffs.

Wheatley/Carle Place 9, Malverne/East Rockaway 2
Blake Lyons scored four goals and added two assists to lead Wheatley/Carle Place (4-3) past Malverne/East Rockaway in Conference C/D. Malverne/East Rockaway (1-4) goaltender Matt Larin made 14 saves in the loss.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Christian Brothers (NJ) 9, Port Washington 3
Port Washington fell to 0-4 with a home non-league loss to Christian Brothers Academy of NJ (2-0). Brendan Lang had a goal and an assist and Finn (George) Meyer made 11 saves for the Vikings.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Cold Spring Harbor 7, Bethpage 0
The Seahawks (3-2) defeated Bethpage (3-3) for the 13th consecutive time dating back to 2005. [ BOX SCORE]
