Game Results for Tuesday April 9

With games in every conference today, here are today's recaps: In Conf A - 

Baldwin 14 - Hempstead 1:  Baldwin jumped out to an early lead, and never looked back. Logan Kirchner (4g, 3a) and Brady Mahler (6g, 1a) lead the way on offense, Vaughdrea Johnson with 3 goals and Preston Kirchner 1 goal rounded out the Bruin scoring. Hempstead goalie Adrian Beltre's 12 saves moves him past 400 for his career.

PLainview JFK 16 - East Meadow 4:  Eight different players scored goals for Plainview JFK enroute to a 16-4 victory over East Meadow. Alex Kantrowitz led the Hawks with 6 Points (3g-3a). Sam Warren, Chris Tripoli both added 3 goals and 1 assist. Bryan Tauber had 2 goals for the Jets.

Herricks 1 - Uniondale 0 / Hicksville 1 - Freeport 0:  Herricks and Hicksville registered forfeit victories over Uniondale and Freeport, respectively

In Conf B- 

Carey 16 - Great Neck North 3:  Carey opened the first quarter with a 6-1 lead enroute to a 16-3 victory over GNN. Leading the scoring for Carey (5-1) were the attack trio of Chris Obertis (5g-3a), James Mcgrath (3g-1a) and Ethan Pelzer (3g-0a). Brian Scheidt had 21 saves for Great Neck North.

Roslyn 9 - Long Beach 8:  Roslyn used a 5 goal second quarter to go up 7-4 at the half and held on for a 9-8 victory over Long Beach in Tuesday's closest game. Josh Berger (3g-1a), Charlie Samter (2g), and Gavin Ryback (2g), lead the Roslyn offense. Roslyn's Ethan Goldberg won 13 faceoffs. Luke Hartman (3g-1a) led the Long Beach offense, while Aiden Derupo had 14 saves.

New Hyde Park 12 - Elmont 3:  NHP's Liam Booth took charge at the face off X winning 8 of 9 faceoffs while Cody McClean added 4 goals and 3 assists, Aidan Garvey helped out with 3 goals and 2 assists and Matt Muntzenberger had 7 saves for the Gladiators.

MacArthur 13 - Sewanhaka 1: Alex Varga (3g) and Ryan Sheehan (3a) led the MacArthur scoring in their 13-1 win over Sewanhaka.  Brody Faivre, Gavin Thompson and Patrick McNerney each had 2 goals for the Generals.

Jericho 17 - Glen Cove 4: Josh Rubin's 7 goals led Jericho in their 17-4 victory over Glen Cove.  Hudson Gingold (3g-3a), and Jack Person (2g-4a) helped Jericho get out to a 13-2 halftime lead. Rubin also had 3 assists, giving him 50 for his career. Nick Ladeairous had 2 goals. David Backus had 2 assists for Glen Cove. Goalie Matteo Cameron had 21 saves pushing his career total over 500.

Division 9 - Great Neck South 5:  Cristian Barone's 13 saves led Division to their 15th victory in a row over GNS. Liam Burns (2g-3a),  Angel Gil (2g-1a), and Timothy Stanley (2g-0a) led the Blue Dragon offense. Edwin Serpas (3g-1a) led GNS.

In Conf C/D: 

Plainedge 11 - Wheatley/Carle Place 6:  Plainedge used a 5-1 first quarter advantage to gain a 11-6 victory over Wheatley/Carle Place. Jack O'Connor (4g-1a), Owen Donnellan (2g-1a), and Kevin Keaveney (1g-1a) were the leading scorers for Plainedge. WCP's Blake Lyons (1g, 3a) reached his 50th assist with his 3 assists and James Demakopoulos' 12 saves gives him 400 for his career.

Friends Academy 14 - Malverne/East Rockaway 3:  Cooper Schultz (5g), Campbell Florence (4g) and Clark Beard (3g, 2a) led Friends Acadmey to a 14-3 victory over Malverne/ East Rockaway. Matthew Delligatti, Cameron Lewis and Jaden Taylor scored for MER.
