Saturday Results-LATE UPDATE!

Herricks 16, Hempstead 1
The Highlanders improve to 5-3 with a win over Hempstead in Conference A play. Troy Madden (5g-5a), Brayden Haase (2g-3a), and Riley Royals (3g-1a) did the offensive damage for Herricks. Adrian Beltre made 21 saves for Hempstead (0-6).    [ BOX SCORE] 

Valley Stream 6, Uniondale 1
Valley Stream won this Conference A matchup and moves to 3-6. Leading the scoring for Valley Stream was Luke Tartamella with three goals and one assist. Uniondale is 1-5. [ BOX SCORE] 

Calhoun 15, New Hyde Park 6
Harley Finkelstein totaled seven points (4g-3a) and Shaun Walters scored four goals to lead undefeated Calhoun past New Hyde Park in Conference B play. Freshman Michael Nicholson won 21 of 25 faceoffs for the Colts. Cody McLean had two goals and three assists for New Hyde Park (4-4)

Island Trees 10, Wheatley/Carle Place 4
Island Trees moved to 4-3 with a road Conference C/D win against Wheatley/Carle Place (4-5). [ BOX SCORE] 

Bethpage 9, North Shore 5
Chase Soliday had two goals and four assists and teammate Bryce Wylie scored four times to lead Bethpage past North Shore in Conference C/D. Jake Kelly made 7 saves in goal for the Golden Eagles (6-3) to pick up the victory. Griffin Pinter made 15 saves for the Vikings (3-4) and Matthew D'Aversa scored twice.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Garden City 7, Bridgewater-Raritan (NJ) 2
Andrew Ottomanelli scored three goals and Carson Kraus added two goals while Denis Fargione had 11 saves to lead Garden City (7-2) to a non-league home victory over Bridgewater Raritan of New Jersey (2-2). A tough Garden City defense shut out the Panthers in the second half.
