May 5th Lacrosse Results

Locust Valley 20, East Meadow 3:  Harrison Blair had seven points (2g-5a) to lead Locusy Valley (8-5) in non-league. Thirteen players scored for the Falcons, who also received 14 saves from Charlie Dickman in the victory. Fernando Flores scored twice for East Meadow (1-10).   [ BOX SCORE] 

Jericho 15, Baldwin 7: Jackson Gingold (5g-2a) and Josh Rubin (4g-3a) each had seven points to lead Jericho (6-7) in non-league. Brandon Klein made 14 saves for Jericho. Brady Mahler scored four goals for Baldwin (8-4).   [ BOX SCORE] 

Bellmore Kennedy 15, New Hyde Park 6: Max Zaransky had five goals and four assists and Joe Battaglia scored six goals to lead Bellmore JFK (7-6) in non-league. The high scorer for New Hyde Park (6-8) was Aidan Garvey with five points (3g-2a). Garvey tallied the 100th goal of his career in the game. [ BOX SCORE] 

Great Neck North 15, Valley Stream 4: Dan Perlman continued his torrid scoring streak with five goals and three assists for GNN in non-league. Eden Hakimi added four assists and Tomer Zur had four tallies for the Blazers (7-5). Keith Grosso totaled 12 saves for Valley Stream (3-11).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Garden City 16, Herricks 3: Andrew Ottomanelli had five goals and an assist to lead Garden City (9-4) over Herricks (3-9) in Conference B. Jack Archer had two goals and four assists and James Paisley had four goals and an assist for the Trojans. Riley Royals scored twice for Herricks. [ BOX SCORE] 

Carey 14, Malverne/East Rockaway 5: Carey led 6-0 after the first quarter in the Seahawks 14-5 non-league victory over Malverne/East Rockaway (3-9). Matt Metzger had four goals and four assists and Ethan Pelzer had four goals and three assists in the victory. Matt Larin made 14 saves for Malverne/East Rickaway.

Port Washington 13, Kellenberg 5: Luke Meyer scored four times to lead Port Washington (8-4) over host Kellenberg (4-9) in non-league. John MacCarthy had four points (2g-2a) for the Vikings.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Mineola 10, Floral Park 8: Jack McCormack had seven points (6g-1a) and Tommy Renner scored three goals for Mineola (7-6) in non-league. Steve Baranoski had three goals for Floral Park (4-9).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Long Beach 13, Lynbrook 4: Jack Miller had a goal and five assists for Long Beach (7-6) in non-league. Finn Morris and Luke Hartman each scored three goals for the Marines and Morris added an assist. Jake Lunati led Lynbrook (6-7) with 12 saves.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Plainedge 15, Oceanside 1: The Red Devils (10-3) led visiting Oceanside 9-0 at halftime in non-league. Braden Donnellan (1g-4a) and Caden Morra (3g-2a) each had five points for Plainedge. Andre Cagno and Declan Costello totaled 14 saves for Oceanside (7-5).   [ BOX SCORE] 

Oyster Bay 11, Freeport 4: Oyster Bay outscored Freeport 5-0 in the first quarter en route to a 11-4 non-league victory. Jake Macri led the Baymen (8-4) with four goals and two assists and Peter Sapienza added three goals. Freeport is now 9-5. [ BOX SCORE] 

South Side 7, Cold Spring Harbor 5: Michael Aiello's three goals led South Side (9-4) to a non-league victory over Cold Spring Harbor (7-6). Michael Melkonian won 12 of 16 faceoffs and Tommy Gentile made 13 saves for the Cyclones.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Manhasset 9, Rumson-Fair Haven 7: The Indians remain undefeated (12-0) with a win against Rumson-Fair Haven (9-4) in a game played at Rutgers University.  Liam Connor scored three goals, Jack Petersen had four points (2g-2a), and Cal Girard won 15 of 20 faceoffs for Manhasset.  [ BOX SCORE]
