There are currently fifty-one Varsity teams that will play in the County in 2025. They are divided among four classes that compete for County championships and later, the New York State tournaments.
Generally, schools with 1,036 or more students are in Class A (13 teams). Schools with 728 to 1,035 are in Class B (19 teams), schools with 450 to 727 are in Class C (14 teams) and schools with 450 and below are in Class D (5 teams).

Teams No Longer Playing
BERNER - Berner was absorbed into Massapequa in 1988. They played from 1963-1987.
LEVITTOWN MEMORIAL - Levittown had two high schools, called Division Avenue and Memorial. Memorial played from 1966 to 1983. The school closed and was absorbed into Division Ave.
PLAINVIEW and PLAINVIEW JFK - Plainview had two high schools for many years. Plainview high school played from 1961 to 1987 and then they combined with Plainview JFK to form one high school. Plainview JFK played from 1967 to 1980 and then again when they combined with Plainview and restarted the program.
