Wednesday: Farmingdale, Lynbrook Win In Overtime

Lynbrook 8, Seaford 7, OT: Michael Fagen (3g-1a) scored the winner in overtime for Lynbrook (6-6) in Conference C/D. Goaltender Jake Lunati made 16 saves for the Owls. Seaford is 7-6.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Farmingdale 7, Syosset 6, OT: Chris Bergersen scored the game-winner in overtime off a feed from Brendan O'Keefe for the Dalers (9-3) in Conference A. O'Keefe had two goals and two assists and Bergersen and Sal Posillico had two goals each to lead Farmingdale. CJ Mangio won 13 of 17 faceoffs for the winners. Adam Giovinco had two goals and an assist and Zachary Finkelstein made 14 saves for Syosset (8-5).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Garden City 9, South Side 8: Stevie Finnell had three goals and one assist and Jack Archer had two goals and two assists to lead Garden City in Conference B. Dennis Fargione made 12 saves for the Trojans (8-4). Michael Aiello (3), Cole DiPietro (2), and Owen West (2) combined for seven of South Side's eight goals. Michael Melkonian who 12 of 18 draws for the Cyclones (8-4). [ BOX SCORE] 

Herricks 17, Great Neck South 1: Troy Madden had nine points (3g-6a) and Riley Royals scored five goals to lead Herricks (3-8) in Conference B. Joe Chimenti chipped in with three goals and two assists. George Toumbekis scored the lone goal for Great Neck South (6-5).

Manhasset 15, Plainedge 3: Manhasset remained undefeated (11-0) with a Conference C/D win at Plainedge. Nine players scored goals for the Indians, led by Aidan Haggerty and Matt Carguilo with three each. Chris Santacroce made 11 saves for Plainedge (9-3).

Floral Park 8, Locust Valley 5: Steven Baranoski scored five goals to lead Floral Park (4-8) in Conference C/D. In goal for Floral Park was Joey Neuscheler who finished with 13 saves. Conner Terrell (2g-2a) led Locust Valley (7-5) with four points.    [ BOX SCORE] 

Calhoun 19, North Shore 7: Jake Lewis led Calhoun (11-2) with 11 points (5g-6a) in non-league. Harley Finkelstein scored four goals and added an assist while LSM/D Peter Thomann scored four goals and added two assists for the Colts. Matthew D'Aversa scored three goals and added an assist for North Shore (6-7).    [ BOX SCORE] 

Great Neck North 16, West Hempstead 4: Daniel Perman scored six goals and had an assist for Great Neck North (6-5). Eden Hakami totaled seven points (5g-2a) for the Blazers in non-league. Kayden Nuzzi scored two goals and had an assist for West Hempstead (3-9). [ BOX SCORE] 

Mineola 13, Friends Academy 11: Jack McCormack (4g-5a) had nine points and Tommy Renner scored four goals for Mineola (6-6) in Conference C/D. Cooper Schultz had six points (3g-3a) and Will Bystrom scored four goals for Friends Academy (7-5).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Hewlett 18, Clarke 3: Trevor Auerbach (5g-1a), Luke Rochler (4g-1a), and Ryan Goodman (4g-3a) were the high scorers for Hewlett in Conference C/D. Rochler added 12 faceoffs wins for the Bulldogs (6-5). Gabriel Cobham scored all three goals for Clarke (7-4).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Oyster Bay 14, Lawrence 2: Oyster Bay improves to 7-4 with a Conference C/D victory over Lawrence (5-9). Jagger Romano (4g-1a) and Jake Macri (3g-3a) were the scoring leaders for the Baymen, and Joseph Sapienza added four assists. Kody Kirchner scored tow goals for Lawrence.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Wheatley/Carle Place 9, Malverne/East Rockaway 4: Nick Pascarella had three goals and two assists and Blake Lyons had two goals and three assists to lead Wheatley/ Carle Place (8-4) in Conference C/D. James Demokopoulos had 12 saves in goal for the winners. His counterpart, Matt Larin, made 12 saves for Malverne/East Rockaway (3-8).  [ BOX SCORE] 

Carey 6, Bethpage 3: Mike Verderosa scored three goals for Carey (10-2) in Conference C/D. Rich Metzger made 11 saves for the Seahawks. Bethpage falls to 6-6 with the loss.   [ BOX SCORE] 

Oceanside 6, Plainview JFK 2: Andrew Dato scored three goals and added two assists for Oceanside (7-4) in Conference A. Michael Madden had five points (2g-3a) as well for the Sailors. Sam Erlich made 10 saves for Plainview JFK (5-9).   [ BOX SCORE]
