Tuesday's soggy wrap up

In CLASS A:

Oceanside 11 - Hicksville 4: 
Oceanside scored 9 goals in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to take a 10-2 lead in their 11-4 victory. Brady Nardone (4g, 2a) and Michael Madden (2g, 3a) lead the way for the Sailors' offense. Dillon Tveter and Jacob Stern were a combined 14/5 at the faceoff X. James Kelly (2g) led the Comets.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Plainview JFK 15 - Hempstead 3: 
Ten different players scored for Plainview with Josef Saueracker (2g,3a) leading the way. Chris Tripoli, Alex Kantrowitz, Max Schwartzberg, and Nick Altmann followed with 2 goals a piece. Hempstead's Chris Lake reached his 100th faceoff win, while Adrian Beltre had 13 saves.[ BOX SCORE] 

Valley Stream 7 - Freeport 4: 
Imran Paul (3g,1a) and Luke Tartamella (3a) were the leading scorers for Valley Stream in their 7-4 victory over Freeport. James Martini had 2 goals for Freeport. [ BOX SCORE]

East Meadow 11 - Uniondale 2: 
The Jets came out firing with 6 goals in the first quarter in their 11-2 win over Uniondale. Bryan Tauber (5g,1a) and Jack Caracciola (1g,6a) led the offense while Ben Barbara's 9 gbs and Jackson Reger's 5 saves led the defense. Anthony Ortega and Adrian Ayala scored for Uniondale. East Meadow is 30-0 vs. Uniondale since 1984. [ BOX SCORE] 

IN CLASS C/D:

Island Trees 12 - Plainedge 7:
Island Trees blew the game open with a 6 goal outburst in the 3rd quarter. John Echezuria, Joseph Filocamo and Dominick Rich each scored 3 goals and Luke Forde won 11 of 12 faceoffs for the Bull Dogs. Plainedge's Jack O'Connor scored 4 goals and goalie Vincent Fuentes reached his 100th save. [ BOX SCORE] 

Seaford 18 - Locust Valley 6: 
Seaford' s Daniel Barone and Tim Naven each scored 5 goals to pace the Vikings. Jake Anzalone set the pace for Seaford winning 17 of 18 faceoffs. Connor Terrell had 3 goals for Locust Valley.[ BOX SCORE] 

Floral Park 14 - Clarke 2: 
Eight different players scored for Floral Park, led by Steven Baranoski's 5 goals and 1 assist. Charles Leary and Marcus Mega each scored 2 goals as the Knights won their 11th straight over Clarke. David Quesada and Joey Kern scored for the Rams.[ BOX SCORE] 

Bethpage 5 - Lynbrook 4: 
All 9 goals were scored in the first half, as Bethpage edged Lynbrook 5-4. Anthony Guarasci led the Golden Eagles with 3 goals and Mike Lobosco and Bryce Wylie added one each. Bennet Votano had 2 goals for Lynbrook. [ BOX SCORE] 

North Shore 15 - Malverne/East Rockaway 1: 
North Shore moved to 6-0 vs MER with their 15-1 victory. Seven different players scored for the Vikings, with Matthew D'Aversa (4g,4a) and Luca Korte (4g,1a) leading the way. Alex Choi was 16/1 at the faceoff X. Matthew Delligatti scored the MER goal. [ BOX SCORE] 

Wheatley/Carle Place 15 - West Hempstead 2: 
Luke Parise won 17 face offs while Nic Pascarella (5g,4a) and Blake Lyons (2g,5a) led Wheatley/ Carle Place to their 6th victory in a row over West Hempstead. Gavin Lee and Declan Cole scored for the Rams. [ BOX SCORE] 

Mineola 14 - Lawrence 2: 
Mineola remained undefeated (6-0) as nine different players scored for the Mustangs. Matthew McCarthy (4a), Jack McCormack (2g,2a) and Joe O'Connell (3g) led the offense while Rusty Carr won 8 of 9 faceoffs including his 100th. Bryan Guevara and Andy Redzovic scored for Lawrence.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Oyster Bay7 - Bellmore JFK 4: 
Joseph Gotti scored 2 of his 3 goals in the third quarter to lead the Baymen in their 7-4 victory over Bellmore. Jake Macri and Jagger Romano each had 1 goal and 1 assist for OB. Four different players scored for Bellmore. [ BOX SCORE]
