Saturday: Manhasset Defeats Darien, Garden City Tops CSH
Manhasset 11, Darien (Ct) 2: Cal Girard won 14 of 16 faceoffs and had a goal and assist for Manhasset (4-0). Matt Im had 8 saves in goal and Matt Carguilo, Mikey Mondiello and Liam Connor all added three goals each. [ BOX SCORE]
Garden City 4, Cold Spring Harbor 3: Andrew Ottomanelli scored two goals to lead Garden City to the 4-3 non-league win. Ryan McGloin scored all three goals for the Seahawks (4-2). Wantagh 9, Comsewogue 8: Wantagh was losing 5-3 at half and 7-4 in the middle of the third quarter before scoring four unanswered goals to go into the 4th quarter tied 7-7. Antony Tsakos scored a buzzer beater goal to end the third quarter and went on to score both fourth quarter goals for Wantagh (5-1).
